  "Reflections:Light the Night to Fight Diabetes - 2010"
     The 2010 event will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Memorial Park Lake and Grounds.  We have made some changes for this year's event,  This year we will have a band, "Dogs Without Sweaters" playing for us.  In addition, we will have vendors selling food items and refreshments. 
     The Diabetes Inc. organization will be holding a diabetes screening from
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the event.  There will be activities for the children as well as an opportunity for them to purchase luminaries and to decorate them before the launching of the over 2000 luminaries.
     As we did last year, all proceeds from the event will stay in the community to assist those organizations who are working with those who have diabetes.

Materials needed for the luminaries and Bernie's storage area.  Hundreds of boxes are needed to store the materials.  Bernie has received them from Sam's Club which saved the  boxes for him on a daily basis.
